This beautiful Grand Auditorium Builder’s Edition 324ce acoustic guitar from Taylor Guitars showcases an array of ethically sourced tonewoods. The back and sides are solid urban (Shamel) ash sourced from end-of-life Los Angeles trees through Taylor’s new urban wood initiative. The top is solid mahogany, similarly sourced from street trees in India. The mahogany neck comes from trees in Fiji that were planted by the British many decades ago. The fretboard and bridge incorporate Crelicam West African ebony, responsibly sourced in Cameroon and processed at the Crelicam mill, whose positive transformation earned Taylor the U.S. Secretary of State’s Award for Corporate Excellence.
